Main Role
Lye Kuan is the Chief Risk Officer for Singapore and Hong Kong. She is responsible for the development and enhancement of the risk management framework, shaping the risk appetite and establishing robust governance structures and providing independent oversight. In addition, Lye Kuan is responsible for delivering forward-looking risk analytics and insights to enable better risk-decision making; champion and embed a strong risk culture.

Lye Kuan joined Liberty in 2025. She is a seasoned risk professional with regional experience in the areas of Risk, Compliance and Underwriting. She is solutions-driven and is passionate about turning complex threats into manageable strategies, partnering with the business to protect enterprise value and the long-term sustainability of the company.
She holds a Masters of Science MSc. in Finance and Accounting, is a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of Insurance (FAII) and is certified in Sarbanes Oxley (CSoX).
