Main role

Melinda underwrites Material Damage and Business Interruption (delay in start-up/advanced loss of profit) insurance for Contract Works (Erection Risks, Construction Risks and Civil Construction Risks), as well as annual Contractor and Principal cover.  She underwrites to a national portfolio from her base in the Liberty Melbourne office.

Personal profile

Melinda joined Liberty Sydney’s Energy, Property & Construction team in 2010 as an assistant underwriter.  In 2011 she transferred to Liberty Melbourne, where she worked primarily on Construction and Property before becoming an underwriter with a core focus on Construction.

Melinda holds an Advanced Diploma in Business and is a graduate of the International Association of Engineering Insurers (IMIA) Engineering Academy.  She is a Senior Associate with ANZIIF.
