Main Role
Atharv is a Senior Casualty Risk Engineer responsible for risk analysis across Liberty’s Casualty portfolio. He works closely with underwriters, providing technical insights to support their understanding of clients’ operations and risk exposures as well as conducting site visits and desk-based reviews across a broad range of industries. His engineering and risk management experience enables him to assess complex operations and provide practical recommendations to help clients manage their casualty exposures.
Personal Profile
Atharv joined Liberty in 2026. Before joining Liberty, he spent four years in casualty risk engineering, assessing complex operations across a diverse portfolio of industries and working closely with clients, brokers and underwriting professionals.
Prior to entering the insurance industry, Atharv held project engineering and continuous improvement roles within the pharmaceutical and food manufacturing sectors. He also has experience in wastewater treatment.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical and Pharmaceutical Engineering) from the University of Adelaide.
