Main Role
John McCabe is President, Australia of Liberty, based in Sydney. Since joining Liberty in 1999 John has held several positions including Chief Financial Officer, LIU's Global Chief Risk Officer in Boston, and COO LII Asia Pacific.
John’s current responsibilities include day-to-day operational management of the Australian business. He is a member of the LII APAC Executive Committee and is also responsible for Commercial & Specialty Asia Pacific enterprise risk management, capital, legal & taxation structure, and evaluation of new business opportunities.
Personal Profile
In addition to his external Chair role on the Studio A Board, John is currently an executive Director on 5 LSM company boards and has previously held the position of Independent Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee of Tennis NSW.
John is a Chartered Accountant (ANZCA); is a Fellow of ANZIIF and a Graduate Member of the AICD.
