File your claim
Please fill in Overseas StudentCare Claim Form and mail the original supporting documents1 (including original medical tax invoices) to Liberty at One Raffles Quay #40-01 North Tower Singapore 048583.
1Supporting documents:
- Copy of e-Ticket and boarding pass or the relevant page(s) of the passport showing entry into or exit from the country of visit
- Specific documents relevant to the nature of your claim e.g. trip cancellation, overseas medical expenses, travel delay, trip curtailment (please refer to the Overseas StudentCare Claim Form for these documents)
Please note the above list of documents is not exhaustive. We will contact you directly if other documents are required.
All travel claims must be submitted within 30 days from the date of return to Singapore.
Acknowledge
You will receive an acknowledgement from Liberty that we have received your claim submission.
Process your claim
Upon receiving all original documents, Liberty will process your claim.
Receive your claim amount
You will receive an email from Liberty that payment will be processed to the mode of payment that you have selected.

No. Original receipts/invoices are required in order to process the Travel claim.
No. Policy excludes the following:
- All forms of pre-existing medical conditions that have been diagnosed, received treatment or prescribed with drugs within 6 months preceding the trip
- Any hospitalization within 12 months prior to commencement of the trip or for which you have prior knowledge before commencement of the trip
If the loss arose because of robbery, burglary or theft, you should lodge a police report or report the loss to the local authority, within 24 hours after the incident.
No. If you have other insurance providing cover for the same loss, damage or liability, Liberty will not be liable to pay except for any excess beyond any amount which would have been payable under the policy had this insurance not been effected.
No. The policy excludes any compensation for pregnancy and any complications arising thereform.
Yes, if medical treatment is seek within 3 days upon your return to Singapore.
Yes, medical expenses incurred overseas are covered only if:
- Insured/claimant is more than 12 weeks/after the 1st trimester pregnancy
- Treatment for pregnancy is sought overseas
- Policy is for 2 way trip (return trip)
